Maybe You’ll Never Exercise Again

That’s what one of our clients was told before coming to Dur1 Health.
For years, she had been struggling with chronic low back pain. She had already tried different therapists, clinics, and treatments, but the pain always came back — especially after workouts and physical activity.
Over time, the frustration became emotional too.
A few healthcare professionals even told her that exercising might no longer be possible for her. For someone who loved movement and training, hearing that was devastating. Slowly, the fear of pain started affecting her confidence, mood, and daily life.
When she started working with us in late 2023, our focus was not simply on “treating pain.”
We wanted to understand the movement patterns, weaknesses, compensations, and lifestyle factors behind the problem. Her program combined manual therapy, corrective exercise, gradual strength progression, and consistent follow-up.
The screenshots below show some of the real messages exchanged during her journey.
At the beginning, she was still in pain, but small improvements started appearing:
“I still have some pain, but my low back feels better.”— December 2023
A few weeks later:
“Today I felt really good from the morning. Right now I only have a little pain.”— January 2024
Then came one of the biggest turning points:
“Today after exercise I didn’t have that usual pain anymore. I only had a very mild discomfort in my low back and overall I felt really good.”— February 2024
And months later:
“Today I felt great. My right leg is also much better. I’m really happy that I’m exercising under the supervision of a professional.”— June 2024
One message especially stayed in our minds:
“I hope you pray that I stay pain-free and don’t text you anymore.” 😂

That message made us smile — because sometimes the best outcome for a therapist is not being needed anymore.
This story is a reminder that pain does not always mean the end of movement.
With the right guidance, consistency, and approach, the body can become strong, resilient, and confident again.
